SPEAC Question of the month!

Every month, SPEAC asks a “question of the month” at our regular meetings. It’s a great opportunity for members to discuss issues and ask questions about topics that affect PACs and parents/caregivers.

This month, our question focuses on the upcoming SD62 district-wide budget for 2023/2024. What are some areas that you’d like to see SD62 focus on when it comes to building the budget for 2023/2024?

Bring your thoughts, opinions and questions – let’s discuss!

BCCPAC Nominations to the Board of Directors

BCCPAC members are invited to put forward nominations for open positions on the Board of Directors, which will be accepted via email until February 28, 2023 and voted on during the 2023 Annual General Meeting on May 6, 2023.

Nominations are open to regular members in good standing, and candidates must be nominated by a current member PAC or DPAC. For more information and nomination forms: https://bccpac.bc.ca/images/AGM/2023-Board-Nomination-Form.pdf

Parent Education Workshops and Q&A sessions

Help SPEAC plan workshops and learning events! What kind of parent education events are you looking for? Which fabulous speakers are you dying to hear from? Is there a parenting topic that you think needs a new educational perspective? Let us know!

Please email SPEAC at speac@sd62.bc.ca with your ideas and input!
