Graduation Assessments

Literacy and Numeracy Assessments are provincial assessments and a graduation requirement. To graduate, a student MUST write the following assessments:

  • Numeracy 10 (NME-10)
  • Literacy 10 (LTE-10)
  • Literacy 12 (LTE-12)

Literacy and Numeracy Assessments are not tied to Math and English specifically, rather, they evaluate mastery of a student’s literacy and numeracy skills over the course of their education.

 Tuesday April 8th:

  • All Grade 10 students will write Numeracy 10
  • All Grade 12 students will write Literacy 12

Thursday April 10th:

  • Any Grade 11 or 12 students missing Numeracy 10
  • Any Grade 11 or 12 students missing Literacy 10 or 12

Students will be able to see their results on their MyEdBC Portal > Assessments. Graduation Assessment results are also posted on student transcripts.
